A new bar Up in the air

New Bars open everyday in the Williamsburg area, it’s like the never ending story. On Thursday, after a cocktail celebration of my friend’s graduation, we all went to the new super “cool” bar in the 6th floor of the new hotel Wyhte. It’s still easy to get inside but I bet soon it will be very hard, so I recommend to get there early. We got inside the elevator, super nice walls, they where made of sliced wood panels, very rustic but modern. The bar is nice, but the best thing is the view… The best spot to look to Manhattan and realize that you are in New York. But of course I feel is too fancy for the area, I felt as if I were in Meatpacking District. The drinks are around 10 dollars and beers 5 dollars. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures in the Bar, but I have some of our way out when we decided head to Union Pool, THE CLASIC BAR IN THIS AREA.

Bares en el barrio de Williamsburg abren todo los días, es la historia sin fin. El jueves, después de un cocktail para celebrar la graduación de una amiga, todos nos fuimos al nuevo bar que se supone es muy cool en el 6to piso del hotel -también nuevo- Wyhte. Todavía es fácil entrar pero me imagino que muy luego va a ser difícil, por lo que les recomiendo llegar temprano. Nos subimos al ascensor y las paredes se mueren lo lindas, era como pedazos de maderas cortados por la mitad, entonces el corte queda expuesto, super rústico pero moderno. El bar está muy bien, pero lo mejor es la vista. Uno de los mejores lugar para mirar Manhattan y darte cuenta que estás en New York. Los peros son que lo encontré demasiado “producido” para esta área. me sentí como si estuviera de fiesta en el Meatpacking Distric (zona que no es muy de mi gusto). Los tragos van desde los 10 dólares y las cervezas 5. Lamentablemente no saqué fotos, pero tengo algunas de cuando decidimos irnos y seguir la fiesta en Union Pool, EL BAR CLASICO POR EXCELENCIA EN ESTE BARRIO.
